The Fort Sill Apache Housing Authority is committed to providing protection, safety and peace of mind from natural disasters for our tribal members and families.

Program Description

The Tribal Funded Storm Shelter Program is available to qualifying Fort Sill Apache tribal members.

Eligibility, Guidelines, and Requirements

  • There are no income limitations
  • First come, first serve basis, with a completed application
  • May receive up to $6,000
  • Must be a Fort Sill Apache tribal member
  • Must be at least 18 years or older
  • Must be primary residence
  • Storm Shelter must be located at primary residence
  • Proof of ownership by warranty deed, TSR or title report
  • Must not be delinquent on subject property (Must be current on home loan and property taxes)
  • Applicants must not have any past due unpaid debts owed to FSAHA or FSA Tribe
