Special Diabetes Program for Indians (SDPI)
The SDPI Program continues to aim to improve and enhance American Indian Health through diabetes treatment and prevention services through education training and physical activity education. In an effort to empower patients to take control of their health the program can assist those without transportation to medical appointments for diabetic management and services such as podiatry appointments, eye exams and diabetic wellness appointments. The program also provides financial assistance to qualifying diabetic patients with medical devices such as eyeglasses, diabetic shoes, lancets, walkers, BP monitors, etc. If you are a diabetic patient who resides in the county areas of Caddo, Comanche, or Grady, and are in need of assistance, please contact the office to lean how you may file an application for aid.
