Program Description
- Job Placement (Direct Employment Assistance): Partial costs for expenses related to starting a new job
- Job Training (Adult Vocational Training): Enrolled members of the Fort Sill Apache Tribe who wish to attend public or private vocational training institutions with a 2-year limitation on training areas, except registered nursing which is not to exceed 36 months.
Eligibility, Guidelines, and/or Requirements
- Must be an enrolled member of the Fort Sill Apache Tribe
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must make application for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Must complete Application
Required Documents
To qualify for one or more of these program activities you must submit the following.
- Completed and Signed JP&T Application
- Individual Self-Sufficiency/Development Plan
- Financial Needs Analysis form
- Copy of CDIB membership card
- Proof of residency (current utility bill in applicant’s name), or Notarized Proof of Residency Affidavit
- Proof of marriage or divorce, birth certificates/social security cards for yourself and all dependents (if claiming any)
Job Placement: Letter from supervisor/human resources department on company letterhead stating your job title, beginning wage, beginning date, dat when first full paycheck will be issued, and expected duration of employment.
Job Training: Letter of verification from training facility (on letterhead) that verifies enrollment, length of program/course, costs of tuition, books, and any additional supplies needed.
- List of three (3) references, to consist of name, address, daytime telephone number, association. (Cannot be relatives)
- Certification of completion
Only completed applications will be considered. Any incomplete forms will be returned
Service Area
Applicant(s) must reside within the jurisdiction of the Anadarko Agency which consist of five counties: Caddo, Comanche, Cotton, Tillman and Kiowa.
